Virtual Beings is on a mission to create believable and interactive virtual pets to get them into everyone's hands. It was such a delightful project to work on and I'm so happy with the result.

I was provided an old base mesh by Virtual Beings and was hired to improve the visual quality, maximise its appeal and create a proof of concept look and feel for Mr Cat that all future designs would use as a goal post. I then created a simple system in photoshop that would be able to create a large variation of cat skins using grayscale textures and gradient maps to better streamline the future workflow of the project.

With only two weeks on the project, I'm sad to see him go but excited to see what future artists create!
