A selection of head cosmetics I made for Stampede: Racing Royale by Sumo Digital!
All heads featured interchangeable meshes for facial expressions, maintaining uniform height with the tops of their heads for hat placement. Additional features like ears, horns, or hair were built as floating meshes so their visibility and size could adapt to different hats, prioritizing flexibility and functionality. All character heads needed four LODs to support up to 60 players on the track. Our priority was to maintain the silhouette shape while following strict geometric constraints.
